What Do Muslims Think Of Jesus?

Published by enjointheworld on

Jesus, or Isa, as he is known in the Arabic language, is one the most prominent prophets in the Islamic religion. Muslims believe that Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary as a prophet and messenger for Allah (God). Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the son of God and is nowhere associated as such anywhere in Islam.

Muslims believe that Jesus performed miracles such as healing lepers, giving sight to the blind, and raising the dead. These miracles are also mentioned in the Quran. Like the Quran, the Injeel (Gospel) is an important message that was revealed to us to spread Islam.

Mary, or Maryam, as she is mentioned in the Quran, is the mother of Jesus. She is known as one of the most important women in Islam. In fact, she is the only woman to have a whole chapter in the Quran named after her.

Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified but instead was raised into heaven. He will return to defeat al-Masih ad-dajjal, also known as the “false messiah” or the “Antichrist”.

Muslims believe that Jesus is a very important prophet in Islam who was able to perform miracles and spread the religion under guidance from Allah.
